My Private Classroom For Marketers

I want to know how do you get people to just be your customers w/o them thinking that you are trying to get them into some network marketing scheme or something of the sort. If you don't do home parties and the such how do you go about convincing people to buy your product? I have sent out numerous emails and talked to some friends w/ no success. I guess I should say that I have two MLM companies and right now I am trying to focus on getting customers and not a team. (I want to do that later cuz I tried that route first and failed) I think if you try something and like it then maybe down the road you will decide to work it. That's what I did. Anyway any suggestions for this would help. I can explain further detail when you reply. Thanks

Being a newbie as well, I've quickly learned you cannot "get" people to do anything. 2 weeks into Leader's Club training has taught me that you have to sell you first, not your product. Using the consultive approach that Diane and LC teaches you will help you in this area. If you are not a member of Leader's Club, I strongly suggest you join! I've not mastered the techniques yet, but have grasped the concept and am working on presenting my product and business in a consultive manner.

The absolute best guide to getting customers is Kim Klaver's book "If My Product's So Good, How Come I Can't Sell It?". It's also available on audio CD.

In it Kim teaches you how to get 100 retail customers — loyal, profitable, repeat customers — in 100 days. Some of her students have literally thousands of customers!

Linda hit the nail on the head! The consultative approach is
non-threatening and causes people to come toward you instead
of backing away from you. Leaders Club, in my opinion, offers
the best training out there and to my knowlegde, is the only one that
teaches the consultative approach.

You also say that you've already done the "try to get them into
your business" approach and failed. I'm wondering if your friends
have a wall up about your MLM's products because of that.

Thanks for all the advise. I am focusing on recovering from chronic exhaustion-- it seems like you can only "rob from sleep" for so long before it "robs" from you. Seems like some health issues I have had latey are due to that and NOT the fact that I eat pretty healthy and take supplements. I will definetly look at everything and join leader's club!!

You have to be VERY SPECIFIC about who your customer is...laser targeted. Only certain people will respond. In my field of Investing and Daytrading for example most of my customers are MALE between 18 and 35 who are looking to trade to beat the markets and make money trading from home. They go on RESULTS...that is the CAT NIP for my customers. I have 1 female customers Carol who is lovely, she gets special treatment. ;-)
