My Private Classroom For Marketers

Change is inevitable……

No matter what happens to you in life, something will change. Actually,
we all change a lot over our lifetime. Weather you want to accept
change or not will be up to you.

I use to be a guy that loathed changes. If you could ask any person
that knows me, they all would tell you that I would completely stress
out over change.

I liked my life not being married. A single man, searching the world
for my own identity as a young adult. Then, change happened I met a
girl. It took me 4 times to break up with her over a 2 year stint to
finally figure out that she was the person that I was suppose to marry.
BIG change for me!

Then change came again, we had a child. Now, all you parents know
having that 1st child is a HUGE change in your life and lifestyle. Then
came the second round of kids, but in a form of TWINS! Talk about
change. I was blessed with two beautiful girls. Man, what a change.

Then I moved from being a restaurant manager to working for a large
bank in the BIG corporate world. I had to change what I wore daily, how
I interacted with my colleagues, and how I spoke. Another change in my
life.

Then I made a deceive change…. I became an internet/home based business
entrepreneur. Now, this changed scared me to death. I was more “nerve
racked” than ever before.

But, we all have changes that define us as a person. It is weather you
choose to embrace the changes that you are going thru, or be a lump on
a log sulking about how change has hurt you or how you hate change.

Change can be good or bad, it is a matter of perception and how you
perceive the changes you are going thru. As I look back on it, my
changes in my life have all been educational in one degree or another.
Changes have helped me become the man and leader that I am today.

How do you view change? Hopefully, you see change as challenge and you
accept the change you are going thru. When you decide to accept this
change, it becomes a whole new excitement that you have never felt
before.

Allow yourself to watch the change that happens to you from the outside
in. You will be rewarded even more when you totally understand what you
are going thru and how it is affect your life and others around you.

As you can see, I think change is good. Changing things from time to time allows personal, financial growth.
IF I did not make the change to become an internet entrepreneur, I
would have stayed in debt feeling sorry for myself. Broke, lonely,
depressed. But, I decided to change and learn and educate myself so
that I could better my financial picture.

You can too.

You have the controls to make things happen more today, then ever
before. The internet world is ever changing, and if you choose to
embrace this change, you will truly change your financial picture to be
brighter than ever before.

Wouldn’t you say that having more money is a good change? I know that I
do! Having a brighter financial outlook allows you to look at things in
a whole different way. It allows you freedoms that you never thought
were possible.

Not only going on vacations to the beach, buying new clothes, cars, and
homes. It allows that freedom within you to adventure inside the most
powerful thing that we all own…..our brain. When you get inside of your
head, and you allow change to take place there, man you will be
astonished at the things you are capable of doing.

Take what Michael Jordan says……

“Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn
around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through
it, or work around it."

Makes a ton of sense when you are going through all these changes in your life.

I made a HUGE change in myself over the last 6 months. I had a friend
always tell me how fat I was. He would be joking of course, but after
awhile it started to affect my thinking of myself. I allowed him to
change my attitude toward myself.

Well, I changed that! I have lost a totally of 51 pounds. I exercise by
biking and doing yoga. I am fit and a lot healthier than I was before.
I use the negative feedback that I was receiving from my buddy to
channel my energy and brain to make a change in my lifestyle.

As you can see, change is inevitable. Weather it happens to you from
some freak accident or weather you choose to make a change, it happens.
So, embrace it.

Until Next time,

 Thomas Chandler

Thomas has given a positive response to change, whether it is self-inflicted or from an external source. I can remember stories from Grandfather, how they had to pack whatever they could into a couple steamer trunks and catch the train, which might be the last, for port where a ship would be boarded bound for an unknown country to start over again. This happened to follow the motivation that was part of the ethnic DNA, "adjust, move or die".
Now days, such experiences happen to the third worlds and we will not likely hear about it. What we do hear about is career changes, moving residences and relationships. None of these are enjoyable at the time they happen and only if they turn out positive so we say that we have grown because of them. Is it any wonder I have invented the philosophy that everything we do is to fix something, whether it be physical, emotional, spiritual, financial or mental - pick any one and see if I'm not right.

Yes I know what you mean. We resist change and usually have it forced on us. That is when we should learn to create our own changes all the time. Like Newtons law a body will continue in a straight line until acted upon by a force. That force is usually a lost job or partner.

A few years ago I was in a straight line until an event at work triggered me to change course and go on the attack in life. My employer wishes he never attacked me first and I went on ringing the changes in every area of my life. I basically fired everyone except my lovely wife and family who were not having a positive influence in my life.

And guess what ... life is great ;-)
